Frustrating! I usual...Oh, I sure know this feeling! Frustrating! I usually get mad at myself, and then do as you are doing... take it out to try again. This is a good reason to draw a design first, before quilting. I either print out a black and white picture of the quilt to draw on, or lay a clear acrylic board across the quilt to draw designs (and erase them!) with a dry erase marker.
