the border moved to the back - think it is now to small - I will quilt the whole border and decide afterwards how wide the border will be

It's looking great! I like all the little inserted strips. I know those take time, and are somewhat tedious to stitch, but in the whole they look wonderful. I like your quilting too. It's all very improv-y and rustic-looking. Nice.
