Wenn ich mir die beiden nun in aller Ruhe ansehe, muss ich sagen, sie sind wirklich nichts spezielles und ich war nicht einmal so fest enttäuscht als die Absage kam. Bei den Luftballons, werde ich versuchen die Schnur (grau), die man kaum sieht noch schwarz zu färben, vielleicht bringt das noch etwas Pepp. Auf jedenfall habe ich gemerkt, dass ich nicht die Quilterin für kleine Quilts bin, aber es war eine Erfahrung.

When I look at them in silence, I'll have to say they are really nothing special and I haven't been very disappointed when the refusal came. With the baloons I'll try to dye the cord black, maybe this will give some liveliness. I sure have noticed that I'm not a quilter for small things but it was an experience.

Blumenstrauss / Bouquet of flowers

Heute Abend gab es für mich eine freudige Ueberraschung als mir von einem Blumengeschäft dieser schöne Blumenstrauss überreicht wurde. Ich bekam ihn als Dank für die Ausstellung beim Zahnarzt. Hier mein Blogeintrag dazu.

This evening I had a wonderful surprise when I received this flower bouquet. I've got this bunch of flower as thank you for the quilt exhibition at my dentist's office. Here you can read my blog entry about this event.

Dieser alte Herr (Quilt von 1999) darf wie jedes Jahr wieder vom Schrank herunter und die Wand während der Osterzeit schmücken.

This old guy (quilt from 1999) is allowed to come down from the cupboard to decorate the wall during the Easter time.

Frühling ist nun definitiv im Anzug - Schneeglöckchen!
