Wenn ein Top fertig ist, kommt für mich immer eine sehr schwierige Phase und zwar die Entscheidung wie quilte ich. Hier habe ich mich für ein Muster entschieden und als ich 2 Blöcke damit gequiltet habe, legte ich den ganzen Quilt beiseite, da es mir einfach nicht gefielt. Nach einigem Überlegen, habe ich mich für einmal mehr entschieden alles wieder aufzutrennen!!!
When a top is finished, for me the most difficult part comes: to decide how to quilt. Here I have decided for a pattern I thought would be perfect but after quilting 2 blocks I put the quilt away because I didn't like it. After much thinking I decided once more to sew back, rip out all the stitches!!!!

Oh, I sure know this feeling! Frustrating! I usually get mad at myself, and then do as you are doing... take it out to try again. This is a good reason to draw a design first, before quilting. I either print out a black and white picture of the quilt to draw on, or lay a clear acrylic board across the quilt to draw designs (and erase them!) with a dry erase marker. I hope your second go is better, and makes you happy.
