In meinem Nähzimmer lagen Stoffstücke / Quiltabschnitte herum und da ich im Moment kreativlos bin, habe ich diese genommen und diese 4 kleinen Schlüsselanhängertäschli genäht :-)

In my sewing room there have been fabric leftovers laying around and because at the moment I am not really creative I took them and made these 4 small keyholderbags :-)

Cucoublüemli / wood anemone

Im Frühling immer wieder hübsch die Coucoublüemli (Buschwindröschen)!

In springtime always nice to look at the wood anemones.

Nähtag / sewing day

Letzte Woche war unser halbjährlicher Nähtag. Da ich im Moment nichts in Arbeit hatte, entschloss ich mich einfache Stofftaschen zu nähen.

Last week we had our bi-annual sewing day with the Neftiquilter. Because I don't have anything to work on at the moment I decided to sew simple fabric bags.

Bosna Quilts

Letzte Woche war ich zusammen mit Quiltfreundinnen in der Predigerkirche in Zürich um die Bosna Quilts anzusehen. Eine Ausstellung, die zu sehen sich lohnt. Sie ist noch bis zum 29. April 2018 geöffnet.

Last week I have been together with quilting friends at the Predigerkirche in Zurich to see the Bosna Quilts. An Exhibition which is really worth seeing. It is still open until the 29th April 2018.

Miniquilt #9

Für den April ist mein Miniquilt bereits fertig. Voilà:

For the month of April I already made my miniquilt. Here it is:

Täschli / little bag

 Da lagen noch irgendwelche Abschnitte von einem Quilt herum. Kurz entschlossen habe ich diese noch gequiltet und mit Zierstichen bearbeitet und was wurde wohl daraus? Ein Täschli ;-)

There have been laying some cut offs from one of my latest quilt around. A quick decision and I did quilt them and put on some decorative stitchings and what did I do with these? Exactly a little bag ;-)

Färbezeit / time to dye

Wieder eimal war Färbezeit. Dieses Mal habe ich Damastwäsche gefärbt, welche die Farben wunderschön angenommen haben. Und jetzt brauche ich ein wenig Zeit um die Stoffe in Quilts oder anderes umzusetzen.

Again there was time to dye. This time I dyed old bedlinnen, which did take the color very well. And now I only need some time to transfer theses fabrics into quilts and others.
