SAQA Benefit Auction

 Mit den anderen Resten werde ich einen Quilt nähen für die SAQA Benefit Auction. Hier die ersten Schritte dazu.

Miniquilt

 Dieses mal gibt es keine Täschli aus den Resten, sondern 2 Miniquilts. Hier der erste und die grossen Rechtecke wollten gefüllt werden und zwar mit Bobbin Work. Wow, machte das Spass! Muss unbedingt wieder mehr mit Fäden und Stichen spielen!

This time there won't be any little bags made out of scraps. Instead it will give 2 miniature quilts. Here you can see the one with the rectangles and they really want to be filled with bobbin work. Wow, what fun it was! I really have to work more again with threads and decorative stitching!

 

Resten / scraps

Der Quilt ist nun fertig. Ein Bild davon werde ich euch dann später zeigen, da er für den Gruppen Challenge organisiert von Marianne Bender und patCHquilt genäht wurde und meine Quiltfreundinnen noch nicht ganz so weit sind. 

Und wenn ich einen Quilt fertig genäht habe, gilt es aufräumen! Und da gibt es natürlich immer wieder Resten. Meistens wandern diese in ein Plastiksäckchen und werden später hervor geholt. Aber dieses Mal nicht. 

The quilt is now finished. A picture of it I will show you later because I made it for the group challenge organized by Marianne Bender and patCHquilt and my quilting friends aren't yet as far.

Always when I finished a quilt, then I have to clean up! And of course there are always some leftovers. Mostly they go into a plastic bag and I'll take them out later. But this time not.

Lisme / knitting

Ein weiteres, grosses Hobby von mir ist Stricken / Lisme. Diesen Pullover habe ich fertig gestrickt und er durfte bereits einmal in den Ausgang. Er ist aus Hanfgarn gestrickt und trägt sich wunderbar.

Another great hobby of mine is knitting. This pullover I just finished and it could already go out with me. It is done out of hemp yarn and is great to wear.

 Das Top quilte ich bevor ich noch das letzte Element hinzufügen muss, gemäss unseren Challengeregeln.

I am quilting the top before I have to add the last element which we have fixed as one rule for the challenge.

Lieblingsquilt / favorite quilte

 Einer meiner wenigen Arbeiten, die ich in eine Rahmen setzte. Diese Floralen Spielereien gefallen mir immer noch und das Werk hat seinen Platz in meinem Haus.

One of my seldom work in a frame. This florale playings I still love and it has its palce on the wall in my house.

 

Lieblingsquilt / favorite quilt

Diesen Quilt nähte ich als Auftragsarbeit für ein Grosi. Inzwischen ist das Baby voll in der Pubertät, nehme ich an.

 This quilt I sewed for a grandmother. In the meantime the baby will now hit the puberty.
