Was sehe ich da als ich meinen Spitzenquilt aufhängen wollte!!!! Oh je, das waschen und färben hat "Grosi's Spitzen gefärbt" wohl nicht gut getan, denn an einer Stelle franst er. Was soll ich nur machen?

What did I see as I wanted to hang up the quilt!!! Ohh the washing and dying of "grandma's dyed laces" wasn't good for this quilt because it is fraying. What shall I do?


Gut, dass ich Zierstiche habe, mit einem orangen Faden habe ich so das ausfransen gebändigt und wenn man es nicht weiss, sieht man es nicht. Im Moment quäle ich den Quilt nocheinmal, denn er will einfach nicht flach liegen. Nun hängt er gespannt unter einem feuchten Tuch an der Designwand und ich hoffe, dass er es sich nocheinmal überlegt und danach schön flach hängen wird.
