Hier zeige ich euch, wie ich beginne einen Quilt zu entwerfen. Meistens direkt in Stoff. Zuerst habe ich ein paar LogCabins genäht, dann merkte ich, dass ich doch lieber nur den Stoff auflege, da mir nicht alles gefiel. Selbstverständlich hatte ich noch viel mehr Fotos in Zwischenstadien gemacht, möchte euch aber nicht mit allen langweilen.
Here I am showing you how I start to design a quilt. Mostly I start directly with fabric. First I have sewn some Log Cabins until I noticed that it would be better to put up only the fabrics because I didn't like everything I did. Of course I have made a lot more pictures in different stages but I don't want to bore you with all of them.

It's nice to see how you sew and layout fabrics to come up with an original design. This is a very difficult thing for me to do! I can see you're enjoying having this nice, large design wall. Hope you've found lots of play time during this holiday. Merry Christmas my friend!
