neuer Quilt / new Quilt

Da wir für einen Challenge bei den Neftiquiltern noch ein Kärtli mit einem Thema vorig hatten und niemand mehr einen Quilt nähen wollte, habe ich mich gemeldet. Diese Dinge müssen im Challenge enthalten sein, wobei man eines streichen darf:

- Materialmix

-Webkanten / offene Kanten

- Tempo

- Lächeln

Because we had one card left for a challenge with the Neftiquilter and no one wanted to do it, so I told them I'll do it. The things which have to be included in the challenge are, but one you can leave out:

- fabric mix / material mix

- selveges / open seams

- tempo in German = speed

- smile

Das Thema Tempo bereitete mir ein bisschen Kopfzerbrechen, gut ich nähe schon schnell, aber das sieht man ja nicht. Zum Glück gibt es google und Bilder und was kommt da, wenn man Tempo eingibt, Tempo Taschentücher! Ok dann wird die Hülle, zugleich Materialmix, mit hinein verarbeitet :-)

 

The theme "Tempo" speed, was hard to bring into the quilt. Okay I am a fast sewer, but can you see that in a finished quilt? No! Happily there is google pictures and when I search for "Tempo" I only got pictures from the hankerchief brand, very popular here in Switzerland and Germany. Ok so I could sew in the plastic wrap and the material mix is also covered :-)
