Label

 Wenn bei mir ein Quilt fertig ist, muss ich noch das Label machen. Meistens sticke ich das. Bei Farfallina (click) habe ich das Label nun endlich diese Woche gemacht. Um dem Namen gerecht zu werden, wollte ich rund um das Label Schmetterlinge nähen/sticken, aber nur mit dem normalen Stickfaden, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es nicht so gut zeichnet. Darum habe  ich ein feines Handstickgarn auf die Unterfandspule gespult und von hinten genäht/gestickt und ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Resultat.

When I've finished a quilt, I had to make the label. Normally I embroider it. By Farfallina (click) I finally made the label this week. To pay justice to the name, I wanted to emroider/sew butterflies around it. But with the normal embroidery yarn it seems too thin. So I took out a thin handembroidery floss and did it on the spool in the bobbin. I am now very pleased with the result.
